Pumpkin Carving for the Local Community
For the past 2 days in class, we have been carving pumpkins that are to be displayed at the Crestwood Shops on 55th Street between Oak St. and Brookside Blvd. Although we were given quite an amount of freedom with the pumpkins, we were required to use patterns that we saw in our previous nature exploration project. We were able to use other classmate's patterns if we desired. I used the hexagonal patterns I saw in the chicken wire from my project, and proceeded to carve multiple chambers. I took inspiration of a spiral pattern from a follow classmate, as well as the circle in the middle of the chambers from another classmate.
