Structures Turned Into 3D Forms

Following the study with shading and line weight, we were then required to express our found structures and patterns in a 3D form. We were first required to create small, paper mock-ups of what our next step possibly could be. This step was use mainly for experimentation and exploration.

After creating the small, paper mock-ups, we were then required to create the objects in as large of a scale as we pleased. The only constraint placed on this step of the project was that we were only allowed to use paper as our medium. This exercise sought to illustrate the constraints placed on artists due to mediums, or how to overcome those boundaries.
